Smile simulation by Angel Aligner: a free preview from a selfie
With the Angel Aligner smile simulation, you can see on your smartphone how your teeth could look after aligner treatment. You do this by taking a selfie. The preview is a free service from Angel Aligner, with no obligation. At our clinic, Angel Aligner is one of two aligner systems, alongside Invisalign®. At a personal consultation, we will check whether clear aligners are an option for you.
Start the Angel Aligner smile simulation
The simulation runs on the Angel Aligner website, not on ours. It does not replace a consultation with a dentist. Depending on your device, you can start the preview in one of two ways.

Open the simulation directly on your phone

Scan the QR code on a computer
If you are at a computer, point your phone's camera at the QR code. On many phones, the standard camera app is enough for this. Then tap the link that appears on your screen. The simulation will open on your phone.
How the smile simulation works in three steps
The smile simulation takes about a minute. Here are the steps:

- Take a selfie while you smile.
- View the preview directly on your smartphone.
What you need
You need a smartphone with a camera and an internet connection. You can do the selfie preview at home, whenever it suits you.
Tips for your selfie
These tips apply to photos of teeth in general.
- Take the photo in daylight or in a bright room, with no light behind you.
- Hold your phone straight in front of your face.
- Smile so that your teeth are clearly visible.
What the simulation can and cannot show
An approximation on screen, not a result
The preview is an image that software calculates from your selfie. It shows how your teeth could look after a correction. It is not a treatment result, and it is not a promise. That is why we do not show any before and after pictures on this page. A picture of another person says little about your own teeth.
What only an examination can show
A selfie only shows the teeth you can see when you smile. But a misalignment affects all of your teeth, right down to the jawbone. The photo does not show your tooth roots, your jawbone or your bite, for example. Your bite is how your upper and lower jaws meet. These points only become clear during an examination at the clinic.
How a selfie differs from a digital scan at the clinic
The smile simulation and the digital scan both show you an image of your teeth in advance. Beyond that, they have little in common.

From preview to aligner consultation in Küsnacht
If you would like to know more after the preview, a personal consultation is the next step. Our clinic is centrally located in Küsnacht-Goldbach, right by the station.
What we check at the consultation
We assess whether aligners are suitable for you. If they are, we plan your treatment digitally. We offer Invisalign® and Angel Aligner. We discuss which system suits you after the examination.

How aligner treatment can continue
If treatment is an option for you, you receive custom-made clear aligners. We recommend wearing them 20 to 22 hours a day. After the correction, a retainer usually holds your teeth in their new position. How long it all takes depends on your starting point. What the preview and the treatment cost
The smile simulation is free. The treatment is not. Its cost depends on your starting point. That is why we tell you the cost after your personal consultation. We bill transparently under the Dentotar tariff, with our tax point value (Taxpunktwert) of CHF 1.13 per tax point. We also give you open advice on costs.
In Switzerland, the compulsory basic health insurance (Grundversicherung) usually does not cover dental treatment. You can request an aligner consultation online or call us on +41 44 915 17 77.

The smile simulation on this page comes from Angel Aligner, not from Invisalign. The preview does not commit you to either system. At our clinic, we work with Invisalign® and with Angel Aligner. We will clarify at the consultation which system suits you.
What happens to my selfie?
You take the selfie on the Angel Aligner website, not on ours. Our website does not upload or store any photo. Angel Aligner's privacy terms apply to the selfie.
Do I have to make an appointment after the smile simulation?
No, the preview comes with no obligation. If you would like to know more afterwards, request a consultation online or give us a call. Conversely, you do not need a preview to request a consultation.
