Further details, all optional

If you prefer an answer in writing.

For example 15.10.2026 or “next week”.

Please do not write about your health here, we discuss that in person.

Your details are treated confidentially. This request is not yet a confirmed appointment. We will set the date together with you.

The details we need from you

Your email address, preferred date, time of day and your request are optional. The tick box “I am asking on behalf of another person” is optional too. You need to fill in these fields:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • The treatment you are asking about
  • Your patient status: new, or already a patient with us

If you are not sure which treatment you need

Choose the option closest to your concern. If none fits, choose “Something else” and describe it briefly, without any details about your health. To help you decide, you can look at all treatments at a glance.

If you would rather call or send an email

You can reach us on +41 44 915 17 77 or by email at klinik@zk-k.ch. The phone is not staffed throughout our opening hours.

If the form does not work with your screen reader or with a keyboard alone, you can report a barrier in the form.

What happens after you send your request

  1. A message on the screen shows whether your request was sent.
  2. Your request goes to the clinic by email.
  3. Your appointment is only fixed once we have agreed a time with you.
  4. If your request is urgent, call us instead of waiting for a reply.

What we do with your details

We treat your details confidentially and use them to arrange your appointment. The treatment you choose and your patient status may already reveal something about your health. Under Swiss data protection law, health data are classed as sensitive personal data. So please do not add any further health details or your medical history to the form. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your appointment request.

Appointments at short notice or outside opening hours

Short-notice dentist appointments

We also offer appointments at short notice. If you would like to be seen soon, please call. In the form, you can simply enter “as soon as possible” as your preferred date.

Dentist appointments outside opening hours

We are happy to arrange appointments outside opening hours too. Ask us about it, or mention the times that suit you under “Your request”.

Opening days and reaching us by phone

The clinic is open Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00. Appointments are also available by arrangement. You will find more about the opening hours of Zahnklinik Küsnacht on our contact page.

Coming to Zahnklinik Küsnacht as a new patient

To request your first appointment at Zahnklinik Küsnacht, use the same form. Carin Wirz, assistant for management and prophylaxis, says that new and long-standing patients matter to her.

What to bring to your first appointment

If you have X-rays or reports from a previous dental practice, please bring them. Your first visit can go ahead without them too. When we arrange your appointment, ask us what else to bring.

What we ask about at your first visit

For your treatment, we need details of your dental and medical history and of any allergies. A medical history usually also includes the medicines you take regularly. It helps to write them down beforehand.

If you feel anxious about treatment

Please tell us, by phone or with a short note in the form. We remove tooth decay with a laser instead of a drill, in many cases without an injection. We check during your examination whether this is possible for you.

A separate page describes your first appointment as an anxious patient. Another explains when dental treatment without an injection is possible.

Meeting the team before your visit

The medical director is Dr. med. dent. Susan Oswald-Schütz, who founded the clinic and is a laser expert. The page on the Zahnklinik Küsnacht team shows who else is part of the clinic.

Getting to your appointment

The clinic is at Goldbacherstrasse 3a, near Küsnacht Goldbach station. Parking is available. The practice is accessible with a wheelchair or rollator. For the route, see our directions to the clinic by S-Bahn and car. Our location page tells you more about us as a dentist in Goldbach, Küsnacht ZH.

Requesting an appointment for someone else

In the form, tick “I am asking on behalf of another person”. In the Name field, enter the name of the person who needs treatment. For the phone number, give your own. The patient status also applies to this person. Under “Your request”, say who you are, for example their daughter or nurse.

For your child

We recommend a first orthodontic check-up for children from the age of 7 or 8. For this, choose “Orthodontics” in the form.

For a relative or someone in a care home

One of our pages covers preparing a dental visit for someone with dementia. The page on dentist home visits for older people explains whether a visit at home or in a care home is possible.

Common questions about your dentist appointment

Is your question not listed? Call us or send us an email.

+41 44 915 17 77
Is Zahnklinik Küsnacht taking on new patients?

Yes. In the form, say that this is your first visit. You can also tell us by phone. We check availability when we arrange your first appointment with you.

Can I book a dentist appointment online?

Not directly. You can request an appointment online. It is fixed once we have agreed a time with you. On the phone, you arrange it during the call.

Should I use the form if I have severe toothache?

No. The form is meant for appointments that can be planned. If you are in severe pain, please call +41 44 915 17 77. You can also reach us on this number in a dental emergency. Outside opening hours, our emergency phone +41 79 524 74 40 is for real emergencies only. For anything else, please send us an email or a WhatsApp message.

Does health insurance in Switzerland pay for the dentist?

In Switzerland, basic health insurance (Grundversicherung) does not usually pay for dental treatment. The exceptions are narrowly defined. We bill transparently under the Dentotar tariff, with our tax point value (Taxpunktwert) of CHF 1.13, and give you open advice on costs. Your policy shows whether supplementary insurance (Zusatzversicherung) covers any of it.

Will I need an X-ray at my first appointment?

Only if the examination requires it. We use digital X-rays, with around 80 per cent less radiation than conventional methods. Our check-up page explains what a check-up with digital X-rays involves.

How do I cancel or change my appointment?

Please let us know as early as possible, by phone or by email at klinik@zk-k.ch. Give your name and the date of the appointment.
